The sanctuary is a 188-acre wildlife reserve where they rescue and care for orphaned baby kangaroos.
The highlight is the guided sunset tour, which runs on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. You’ll get picked up from your accommodation and taken to the sanctuary, where you can meet the kangaroos as they wake up from their daytime sleep. It's a relaxed, educational walk through the bush, and you might even get to hold a baby joey or feed one.
The tour is a small group experience, so it's intimate and personal. Just be sure to book in advance, as spots fill up quickly. And remember, the sanctuary is closed during the summer months (December to January), so plan accordingly. If you're an animal lover, this is a must-do experience in the Red Centre.
