Murphy's Haystacks is not far off the main road. If you need to stretch the legs or want to stay the night on the route to Streaky Bay, this is a good spot to do so!

It's fascinating natural landmark of unique rock formations, made up of ancient granite that has weathered over time, creating interesting shapes that stand out against the surrounding landscape. They resemble haystacks or giant mushrooms, which adds to their charm.

When I arrived, I expected them to be a lot bigger! But it's interesting to me how there's nothing around but fields, then all of a sudden there's these big rocks in the middle of the field.

I was here at midday, but if you camp for the night here, photos at sunset would be very beautiful!
