Here You'll find a small picturesque town with local tavernas and wonderful views of the Pindus mountain range and Mount Mitsikeli peak. In winter, it's possible to ski there.

Anilio is a charming mountain village nestled in a forest of chestnut and hazelnut trees, located 53km from Volos. The locals are known for growing beautiful flowers like Gardenias and Camellias, as well as trading chestnuts and hazelnuts from the forest. Visitors can explore the 18th-century church of Agios Athanasios with its stunning wooden icons, and check out the chapel of Ag.Triada for impressive frescos and icons. For a refreshing dip, head to the nearby beaches of Banica and Plaka with their crystal-clear waters. Accommodation options are limited, but Kallisti Apartments offer a cozy stay for those looking to experience the tranquility of Anilio.

An epic place to see is Anilio viaduct, and if You go under it, You'll understand why it's so Epic. If you're driving a car, You're likely to cross it, so enjoy the views from there, it's stunning.
