The Sacrario delle Bandiere is a museum that houses war flags from disbanded units, decommissioned naval vessels, and various military branches of the Italian Armed Forces. It was established on November 4, 1968, and also includes the crypt of the Unknown Soldier within the Vittoriano monument. It's possible to explore historical war flags dating back to the Risorgimento period up to World War II. The museum provides a glimpse into Italy's military history and honours the sacrifices made by its armed forces.
