The Castello di Venere is a 12th- to 13th-century Norman castle built over the Temple of Venus. While you can't explore the castle's rooms, you can wander around the grassy courtyard with its ancient ruins and impressive stone wall supposedly built by Daedalus. The real highlight? The stunning panoramic views that stretch all the way to San Vito Lo Capo and the Saline di Trapani.
