A small temple underneath a mountain outpost lookout point? Sounds Great!

About Julisi

Julisi Temple is a temple just outside of Xinduqiao and underneath the mountain viewpoint of julisiyakou (or Minya Konka sightseeing platform - depending on your map app of choice).

The temple is a nice stop-off point on either the way to or from the lookout and is a nice way to spend some time wandering around in relative peace exploring a different side to Sichuan - the Tibetan cultural backdrop that often gets overlooked in favour of the big mountains.

Getting to Julisi

The temple itself is on the road to the Julisiyakou/ Minya Konka lookout point just a couple of kms out of Xinduqiao town.
