Kashgar is a dry, hot, and historic city and what better place to relax than by coming back to something a bit more comfortable.

About the Hotel

There are two Hyatt UrCove hotels in the same complex here - one more expensive than the other - though they share many of the amenities.

The hotel is super comfortable as you'd expect and has a great breakfast spread for you to go for before your day out exploring.

The whole complex has been renovated to look authentically Kashgar, with the streets combining their buildings set up with mosaic walls and carpet arrangements.

While in general I'd say any hotel can do in China, Xinjiang - and Kashgar especially - is a little bit unique of a province thanks to the extra security measures in place across the area.

For that reason, I'd recommend staying somewhere Western branded and a bit more comfortable. The more used to foreign tourists they are, the less questions they'd have.
