A viewpoint of Meili so called because it... has a tree,,

About the 'tree'

Okay okay, ignore the naming of this one, it's what people use in Chinese and I had no better way to describe this one..

This sunrise spot is quite similar to the temple with a wide open view of the Meili mountain range ahead of you but there are a few bonus parts that can make this s bit of a different photo spot.

For one, the tree is a really cool frame for the mountains, but you can also get a clearer portrait shot with the mountains in the background because you no longer have that viewpoint barrier in the way.

One bonus point.

If you're facing the tree, it could be worth heading to the left for about 100 meters. There's a little outcrop with a different tree that can be a bit further away from/ hidden away from some of the other photographers there - for if you wanted some more space.
