About Dehang

Dehang Miao Village is a small village surrounded by mountains and rivers in Hunan province.

The village is home to about 820 ish people but it's the mountaintop platform that really takes the breath away.

Climb through the mountain path and you'll end up at a platform that opens up into the middle of the karst hills.

On the way down, don't forget to turn off the main path where you'll be met with a stunning waterfall.

If you have a drone, this spot is perfect.

Getting to Dehang

The best way to get to Dehang is to get the train to Jishou county station, and then to take a cab or bus.

The bus schedule changes regularly so I suggest keeping an eye on the maps feature on your phone and give it a shot.

If you wait and it doesn't show up (as does occasionally happen), then taking a cab or didi is the best option.

It's about 30 ish minutes by car through the karst mountains and is a pleasant journey.
