It is an old fishing settlement with cute stone houses known for its year-round sunny weather and historical significance. There is a very nice hotel on the seaside in Rose and a beautiful beach where swimming is pleasant for everyone, including kids.

Once visiting, you'll find here in the area a couple of different forts (but the highlight is the fortress Forte Rose, which now houses a diving center), various accommodation options for different budgets, and a few very good fish restaurants.

Come here by boat or kayak from Herceg Novi or by car when driving around the Lustica Peninsula. In summer, it is easy enough to spend the whole day here.
