Lumphini Park is a peaceful escape in the middle of Bangkok’s hustle. Wide lawns, shady trees, and a calm lake make it perfect for a stroll, a jog, or just sitting on a bench. Keep an eye out for the huge monitor lizards that roam near the water. They are part of the park’s daily rhythm. Don’t touch them, just watch how they move and interact with the environment.

Surprisingly, these giant lizards share the park with many local cats, who are fed by residents. Watching how lizards and cats coexist gives a unique glimpse into the park’s daily rhythm and local life.
