A bright red giant anker marks the entrance to Boca Grandi Beach, a gorgeous backdrop for this unique landmark. Aruba’s big Red Anchor was set up in memory of all seamen who lost their lives when an oil tanker wrecked nearby. However, it's commonly viewed as a memorial to all fallen seamen.

At the south east coast of the island, it stands in the barren land of Seroe Colorado, on the road from San Nicolas to Baby Beach. Make sure to buy a fresh coconut at the stand of the fun Loco Coco man nearby and be on the look-out for wild donkeys walking around!
