Fika is set inside a Soviet-era building with original 1950s ceiling mouldings, but the interior is anything but dated, the design is so good it got featured in Dezeen and Wallpaper magazines. It's the kind of place that looks great and actually delivers on the food too.

Best for breakfast or brunch, must tries include Eggs Benedict with salmon, shakshuka, and the mushroom omelette. The bakery counter at the entrance is dangerous the cheesecake and salted caramel brownie are worth every bite.

Great vegan options too, including avocado toast, falafel with hummus, and vegan cakes. In summer, grab a table outside, the street is calm and the terrace vibe is really nice. It's pet-friendly too, so feel free to bring your dog.

Service can be a little slow on busy mornings, so don't rush.
