KS HOUSE is a great affordable base in central Bangkok as it's within walking distance of most of the main attractions of the city. It's also a few blocks down from the infamous Khaosan Road (not a personal favourite due to the red light district feel and obvious rip-off on literally every single price and service, but).

Be aware that the rooms can be very small, but they're clean and affordable (I think we paid 8€/night for a private room which is great for Bangkok). The staff is also very welcoming and helpful and there is a common area with a balcony, free water, coffee, tea and daily breakfast of jam and toast.

Overall a great affordable stay in Bangkok!
