The Ang Ka Nature Trail is a picturesque hiking trail located at the highest point in Thailand - Doi Inthanon mountain in Doi Inthanon National Park. While Thailand's peak itself is not very interesting, this forest trail right next to it is worth it.

It's more of a walk than a hike since you follow a circular boardwalk that takes maybe 30 minutes to walk around. The boardwalk goes through a unique, lush cloud forest that hosts some of the most unique animal species in the world. While we sadly didn't see any, the forest is incredible in itself, and you might even spot a wild orchid or two growing in the trees!

Expect temperatures to be lower as Doi Inthanon stays around 10-15°C all year round.
