Chumphon Gardens Hotel is a good hotel if you, like us, make a stop-over in Chumphon before continuing south or to the islands. The rooms were spacious and clean, no complaints. Staff didn't speak a lot of English but were welcoming.

The only negative is that if you choose a stay with breakfast included they will give you breakfast coupons to claim your meal. However, they didn't mention that the coupons are for the date mentioned on them ONLY, so if you don't have your breakfast on that day the coupon will expire and you can't have breakfast the next day, even if you paid for breakfast and then "never claimed it". Wasn't a fan of this policy, especially since the reception didn't clarify this so it came as a surprise when I tried to have breakfast and then couldn't. Breakfast otherwise looked good.
