One of the prettiest temples in Bangkok made out of white Italian marble. It's absolutely beautiful to witness in the early morning when you will see the monks collecting alms and the temple grounds are peaceful. The temple has an inner courtyard lined with Buddha statues and a beautiful gate that makes a perfect photo spot.
If you visit in the right season (summer-early autumn) you might be able to capture the golden sun rise behind the temple from inside the courtyard. In winter the sun will rise right behind the temple so it won't peak through until well after sunrise. It's still absolutely gorgeous but good to keep in mind if you're into photography! In early November when we visited we managed to see the rising sun shine through the courtyard door too!
