Doi Inthanon is the highest peak in Thailand and actually part of the Himalayas mountain range! While the peak itself is very anticlimatic since it's basically just a big parking lot and a military base with no views visible, you mainly drive up here so that you can take a picture with "The highest point in Thailand" sign and say that you've been there, haha.

However, Ang Ka Nature Trail is up here which is worth visiting!

To actually get a view of the stunning landscape around Doi Inthanon mountain I recommend The Royal Twin Pagodas, Kew Mae Pan Trail or just on the side of the road a little bit further down.

*Part of Doi Inthanon National Park - entry ticket for the whole national park is needed to access*
