The Museu de la Catedral de Barcelona, located at the Barcelona Cathedral in Catalonia, Spain, is a popular tourist attraction. Home to one of Europe’s most spectacular Gothic cathedrals, the museum showcases works from Catalan artists and sculptures from the 12th to 19th centuries. Art aficionados and history lovers alike can explore innovations in architecture, including stained glass windows, pillars and a beautiful astronomical clock with its original mechanism–all along with other fine vestments, paintings and sculpture. Visitors can also learn about the life of St. Eulalia who is said to have been martyred in the cathedral before it was completed as well as take in the vibrant stained glass referencing famous Christian martyrs. Regardless of the visitor's beliefs, the Museu de la Catedral de Barcelona provides an awe-inspiring journey through time and culture.
