Get ready for one of the most rewarding hikes in the region! Skjæringen is one of the famous Seven Sisters peaks, and it's a local favorite for good reason. The well-marked trail starts from the Markvoll car park and takes you on a steady climb, but the breathtaking views of the Helgeland coast from the 1,037-meter summit are absolutely worth the effort. While considered one of the more accessible of the 'Sisters' and suitable for active families, the 4-5 hour round-trip hike is still a strenuous but fantastic day out in the mountains.
