Tanah Lot is a famous rock formation off the coast of Bali, Indonesia, known for its stunning Hindu pilgrimage temple perched on top. The temple, called Pura Tanah Lot, is dedicated to the sea god and is believed to have been created by a 16th-century religious figure named Dang Hyang Nirartha. Visitors can only access the temple on foot during low tide and are greeted by souvenir shops and restaurants along the way. With its picturesque setting and cultural significance, Tanah Lot attracts around 500,000 visitors annually, making it one of Indonesia's most popular tourist destinations.
