Cecil Court is a pedestrian street with charming Victorian shop-frontages located in Westminster, England. Nicknamed the 'New Booksellers' Row', it is home to about a dozen antiquarian bookshops as well as many other specialty shops that include silver antiques, militaria, porcelain, numismatics and more, making it a veritable candy store for lovers of unique and vintage items. Cecil Court's importance was recognized by film historians, who referred to it by its 'Flicker Alley' moniker. The "Flicker Alley" plaque commemorates this role and honors the street's rich cultural heritage. Celebrities such as actor Simon Callow have added to the lore of Cecil Court by unveiling plaques related to personal stories from its past. Its history also includes that of the Mozart family, who briefly resided on Cecil Court, opening a door to the delightfully mysterious world that can be found within its courtyards.
