Bræðrafell Mountain Hut is a cozy spot located south of the Bræðrafell mountain in Iceland. Built in 2016, this hut can accommodate up to 16 people and has an oil-operated stove for cooking and heating. During the summer, you can collect drinking water from the roof reservoirs. There's a marked walking route from Herðubreið mountain to the hut, about 9-10 km long. If you need to book a stay or have any questions, just reach out to the friendly folks at the Ferðafélag Akureyrar office.
