Nýidalur Mountain Hut, operated by the Iceland Touring Association, offers accommodation for up to 79 people in two similarly built huts. The huts feature a well-equipped kitchen, bunk beds in a dorm room, sleeping lofts with mattresses, and separate toilet and shower facilities nearby. The camping ground is conveniently located close to the toilet building. With stunning views on clear days, Nýidalur is a great base for exploring the surrounding area, including the nearby Tungnafell glacier and Pass Vonarskarð.
