5 stars for Bloomin’ Heather! I am so grateful to Heather Nelson for helping me curate an itinerary for what I believe will a trip of a lifetime.
I told Heather I wanted a restful and contemplative trip with a little bit of merriment. I love singing and nature and knitting, and I also want to go someplace where I can hear Irish Gaelic spoken.
The itinerary she presented to me was right on the nose. I will be spending several days in an adorable stone cottage of a hermitage in Glendalough on the eastern side of the island. There will plenty of quiet and lots of places to walk in nature. In addition, I will have the opportunity to hear choral evensong at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin. The last few days of my vacation will be the merriment part on the western side of the island! Heather is so deeply involved in Irish culture that she even gave me a list of pubs in Galway where there will be traditional music! I am hoping I will be allowed to sing along! Also, this is where I am going to want to pick up some wool for my knitting and tune my ear to listen for the Gaelic language.
I am so excited for my upcoming magical trip to Ireland for some rest and merriment. I could not have done it without Heather’s help. Heather knowledge and love of Ireland is deep. She is well connected and there is just no substitute for that. Heather is a real pro. She is reliable and she is in your corner. I've traveled Ireland twice utilizing Heather's fantastic planning. She is so well connected and greets everyone as a friend. She traveled Ireland first as a visitor and now as a local and I could tell I was getting the full experience.
