First of all, if you see "LIVE" music advertised, it will most likely be 1-2 musicians with a guitar, singing cover songs with amplification. If you want to find an authentic session in a pubs, you need to look for or ask for a "TRAD" session! Trad is short for traditional Irish music! You may even find the Irish word for music "CEOL" advertised, but you still want to confirm if it is trad music/trad session, where a number of musicians can join in the fun!
