Frisco – Tubing & Lake Views (About 15 Minutes Away)

  • Just 15 minutes north of Breckenridge, Frisco has the best small town mountain vibes, plus some of my favorite thrifting!

🏔️Frisco Adventure Park

The highlight is the tubing hill at Frisco Adventure Park

  • Lift-served tubing lanes (no hiking uphill)

  • Designated time slots

  • Great option for non-skiers or families with kids

  • Scenic views of snow-covered Dillon Reservoir

Bonus activities:

  • Beginner ski & ride hill

  • Nordic skiing and snowshoe trails

  • Day lodge for warming up

🏔️ Keystone Resort – Night Skiing (Approx. 25 Minutes)

While I love Breck, I also love Keystone, and it is very close by. Keystone if one of the few Colorado resorts offering night skiing.

  • Ski under the lights after sunset (typically on select runs)

  • Less crowded evening slopes

  • Great option if you arrive late or want bonus ski time

  • Fun après scene at River Run Village

  • Snow tubing park

  • Ice skating on Keystone Lake

  • Family-friendly village atmosphere

🏔️ Silverthorne – Shopping, Dining & Scenic Views (Approx. 20 Minutes)

Silverthorne is a great stop for shopping, dining, and quieter mountain town vibes.

  • Outlets at Silverthorne features brand-name stores offering discounts on outdoor gear, apparel, and winter essentials.

  • Silverthorne has a growing culinary reputation with elevated yet relaxed restaurants, and could be easier to get reservations than in Breckenridge.

  • Overlooks of Dillon Reservoir

  • Access to snowshoe trails and quieter winter hikes

  • Peaceful alternative to busier ski towns
