I had the best time ever staying at Charlotte Plains campsite, it’s a true gem for anyone craving an authentic outback adventure. The highlight of the stay is definitely the natural artesian bore and bathtubs where you can soak in the incredibly relaxing 42-degree waters. There’s nothing like sinking into those warm, soothing springs after a day exploring the rugged outback. The bathtubs are set up in a wonderfully rustic style, letting you kick back and take in the stunning landscape and vast open skies. The campsite is super chill with plenty of space and the basics you need for a comfy stay. Oh, and they also have live music every afternoon which adds to the atmosphere.

Camping here costs $28.00 per adult per night per night, which is pretty reasonable given the awesome facilities. I was initially concerned about having a bath to myself since I wasn’t sure how many there were, but there are plenty, and everyone was considerate about sharing. I also booked a private bath session for $30.00 an hour. At first, I wondered if it was worth the extra cost, but it turned out to be a beautifully peaceful experience. If you’re traveling with a loved one, it’s definitely a super romantic way to unwind together.
