The Grand Teton National Park sign is one of the best quick photo stops in the park, especially around sunset. The sign sits near the Mormon Row area, making it an easy stop to combine with one of the most iconic sunset locations in Grand Teton.
I stopped here in the evening and the lighting on the Tetons looked incredible as the sun started going down behind the mountains. It’s a very easy stop with no hiking required, which makes it perfect if you want a scenic viewpoint without spending a lot of time.
Because it’s located near Mormon Row, this area can get busy around golden hour, especially during summer and fall when photographers gather for sunset. Even so, it’s usually easy to make a quick stop for photos and continue exploring nearby viewpoints.
