Hveragerði is a charming town located about 45 kilometers from Reykjavík, known for its geothermal activity, green landscapes, and relaxed atmosphere. With around 3,000 residents, it sits on a 5,000-year-old lava field and is one of the few places in the world where hot springs can be found right in the middle of town.
