The Rupert Brooke is a stylish pub and restaurant located in the picturesque village of Grantchester, just a couple of miles from the centre of Cambridge. Nestled alongside the River Cam, the venue offers a unique drinking and dining experience in an idyllic setting. With a history dating back to 1839, the site has been a popular public house for centuries, well before its namesake, the poet Rupert Brooke, made his mark. In fact, the pub was originally called The Rose & Crown and only changed its name to The Rupert Brooke in the 1970s as a tribute to the famous poet. Under the leadership of Pasquale Benedetto, who has been part of the Cambridge dining scene for over 30 years, The Rupert Brooke aims to set itself apart through exceptional service, a vibrant atmosphere, delicious food, and a wide selection of high-quality drinks. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
