The Illuminated River Foundation is an fab initiative in London that aims to light up the city's iconic bridges along the River Thames. ✨ With a vision to enhance the nighttime experience of the river, the foundation has partnered with artists and designers to create stunning light installations that not only beautify the area but also celebrate the city's rich history and culture. The project is all about bringing people together, encouraging them to explore the riverside, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere that the lights create. It's a fantastic blend of art, community, and urban design, making London's nights a little more magical.

Join the City of London and Westminster Guides as they take you on a journey under the rivets of all nine Illuminated River bridges.

The boat tours have been organised in partnership with Uber Boat by Thames Clippers to provide low cost access to the Thames and to the Illuminated River artwork, which is best experienced from the river itself.

Since 2019, these sell-out boat tours have taken passengers on a guided cruise beneath the Illuminated River bridges. At 3.2miles, they form the world's longest public art commission.

Boat tours are currently on pause during the summer months but will be back in September, when the dark nights return so you can see the Illuminated River at is best.

The boat tours are every Saturday and the tours last approximately 40 minutes ✨ 🛥️ 🌉
