You'll start with a short walk from the Grotto Mountain day-use parking lot, which soon leads you into a narrow canyon with towering limestone walls. The real magic happens as you walk along the frozen creek bed in winter, discovering stunning icefalls and ancient pictographs hidden on the canyon walls. The main trail to the waterfall is about 4.2 km round-trip and is an easy, family-friendly outing, though microspikes are a must for the icy sections in winter.
