Get ready for one of the most rewarding hikes in the Lake Louise area. The trail to the Big Beehive is a classic mountain adventure, taking you on a steady climb from the shores of Lake Louise, past the lovely Mirror Lake and the historic Lake Agnes Tea House. The final push involves a series of switchbacks that bring you to the summit, where you'll be treated to absolutely breathtaking, top-down views of the turquoise lake and the surrounding peaks. The full round-trip hike is about 10 km (6.2 miles) and takes most people 4 to 5 hours. While the trail is free, you will need a Parks Canada Pass to access the area.
