This farm offers traditional horse, reindeer, and husky sledge activities in Äkäslompolo. Visitors of the Konijänkkä farm can experience and connect with Arctic animals all year round.

I opted for a farm visit and a short reindeer sledge ride. Besides feeding the reindeers and making a lovely sledge tour with them, we got to cuddle the husky's, horses and even the cats on the farm. The owners are super friendly and they treat there animals like family members, which was one of the most important reasons to choose this place.

What I also really like is that this farm only offers small rides of 1 km or 5 km, which makes it very animal-friendly. Because of this, the tours are also a lot cheaper than most others in Lapland. Personally, I think a 5km ride is more then enough to experience a husky or reindeer sledge ride in Lapland.
