Packing Items

When traveling to Alaska, always pack layers! Yes, layers is where it's at. You may know that already, but here are some more specific notes to be aware of...

• raincoat (light layer but a water shedding layer)

• rain pants (if you plan on getting out on outside adventures)

• beanie

• bug spray (in summer you'll need and you can buy here in Alaska)

• wool layers work really well

• polyester layers also work well

• wool socks (extra pairs)
