Pompey Square in Nassau is a small but lively spot near the cruise ship docks, with views of towering ships and plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy. It's named after Pompey, a slave who led a revolt for freedom in the Bahamas. The square has a water fountain, picnic tables, and sometimes hosts a straw market or live music. It's a nice place to take a break, soak up some local culture, and do some people-watching while exploring downtown Nassau.
