The Niblet, Nublet, and Nub Peak are easily the best viewpoints in the park and they’re all located along the same trail. Nub Peak is the tallest at around 2,746 m, but even the smaller Niblet and Nublet give amazing panoramic views of the whole area.

Honestly, these trails are incredible for the reward-to-effort ratio, so we’d recommend to prioritize them over other trails in the area. It’s only around 6–8 km round trip from the Magog campground with about 600 meters of elevation gain. We had a storm rolling in when we were there, so didn’t get much time to enjoy it, but the views were absolutely incredible!

Keep in mind that these trails are only accessible as part of a multi-day trek into Mt. Assiniboine Provincial Park - read our full guide for everything you need to know about planning your trip.
