Emperor Falls is one of the most iconic sights along the Berg Lake Trail in Mount Robson Provincial Park.

Most hikers see it during a 2–4 day multi-day trek to Berg Lake, but if you're up for a challenge, it is possible to reach the falls in a single day. Located about 15 km from the trailhead, a day hike to Emperor Falls means a 30 km round trip with significant elevation gain. It’s tough but doable for strong hikers, especially in summer when daylight is long.

If you plan to camp at any of the backcountry campgrounds along the trail (like Whitehorn, Emperor Falls, or Berg Lake), permits are required and must be reserved in advance through the BC Parks reservation system.
