Carved deep between dramatic rock walls, Seitan Limania is one of Crete’s most striking beaches. Its narrow shape, wild beauty, and intense turquoise waters create a powerful first impression—but this is a beach that asks for respect.
How to access:
From Chania, drive toward the Akrotiri peninsula and follow signs for Seitan Limania. The road ends at a small parking area. From there, you must walk down a steep, rocky path for about 10–15 minutes. Good shoes are essential, and the descent is not suitable for everyone. There is no shade and no facilities.
Local Tip ⭐
The beach can get very crowded in high season and the sea can be rough on windy days—choose your timing carefully.
Eco note 🌿
This is a fragile natural landscape. Stay on the marked path, do not climb the cliffs, avoid leaving waste behind, and respect the sea conditions. Seitan Limania is breathtaking precisely because it remains wild—help keep it that way.
