Get ready to explore one of the best sections of England’s top long-distance trail, the South West Coast Path from St Ives to Penzance in Cornwall.

A little of what you’ve got to look forward to on this amazing hike in Cornwall includes: sweeping coastal views that stretch ahead for hundreds of miles, rugged and wild terrain contrasted by postcard-pretty Cornish villages, delicious vegan food and much more.

St Ives is a cute and quirky seaside town in Cornwall, England, known for its picturesque beaches, artistic community, and rich mining history. With narrow, winding streets in the old town and a vibrant arts scene, it's a popular destination for tourists seeking a mix of relaxation and culture. From the historic Sloop Inn to the modern Tate St Ives gallery, this coastal gem offers a little something for everyone to enjoy.

DINNER TIP

St. Ives has some great vegan dinner options, almost too many if you're only staying for one night! Here are my top two picks for St Ives:

  • Everything from The Bean vegge/vegan restaurant is amazing, including the desserts

  • The vegan 'fish & chips' and vegan Sunday roast dinner at the Tregenna Hotel are both delicious

I would recommend making reservations for both of these options at least a few days in advance.

TO DO FOR TOMORROW

  • Check with reception where to leave your bags for pickup in the morning

  • Book your breakfast for the earliest spot which is 7.45 am

  • Check the weather here for tomorrow's hike
