More than just a train and bus station, this magnificent building is a destination in itself, with its soaring ceilings and classic architecture. You can grab a coffee and watch the trains go by, explore the book store and gift shops, or simply find a quiet bench to soak in the historic atmosphere before embarking on your journey. Union Depot is known for hosting a lot of great events year-round, and it's also the starting point for the Amtrak day trip I took to Red Wing, which ended up being one of my more popular reels on Instagram.
