Tucked away just outside Clonmany village, Glenevin Waterfall is one of Inishowen’s most charming natural escapes. Surrounded by a peaceful wooded glen, it offers a calm, easygoing experience that feels a world away from busy roads and everyday noise.

The walk to the waterfall takes around 15–20 minutes, following a gently flowing stream along a well-maintained, mostly flat path. Along the way, you’ll find small picnic spots and whimsical fairy houses hidden among the trees, adding a touch of magic that makes the walk especially enjoyable for families and younger visitors.

As the path winds through the glen, the sound of running water builds before you round the final bend to reveal the 30-foot cascade, tumbling gracefully into the pool below. It’s a beautiful, tranquil sight and a perfect spot to pause, relax, and take photos framed by lush greenery.

Glenevin Waterfall is ideal for all ages and fitness levels, whether you’re looking for a short stroll, a quiet moment in nature, or a scenic stop while exploring Inishowen. It’s a gentle adventure that rewards you without demanding too much effort.

Note: The path can be slightly damp after rain, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Visiting earlier in the day often means fewer people and a more peaceful atmosphere.
