Get ready for a rewarding journey to meet Darach, the Guardian Giant, perched atop Mullaghcarn Mountain. Your adventure starts from the Gortin Glen Forest Park car park, following the purple trail on a steady, uphill hike that takes about two hours to reach the summit. The path, a mix of gravel and tarmac, winds through the beautiful forest, opening up to incredible panoramic views long before you even reach the giant sculpture. It's a fantastic walk that rewards your effort with one of the most unique sights and stunning vistas in the Sperrins.
