Step back in time at the Tankardstown Copper Mine, a key piece of our local history right on the stunning Copper Coast. The old engine house stands proudly against the sea, offering dramatic views over the cliffs. It's an easy stop with parking right by the entrance, and from there you can wander among the ruins and imagine what life was like for the miners in the 19th century. The site is part of the larger Copper Coast UNESCO Global Geopark, so you're surrounded by incredible geology and coastal scenery.
