Just outside the village of Glenoe, this waterfall is one of the most photogenic waterfall spots in County Antrim. Glenoe Waterfall sits hidden in a tree-lined gorge, where the water tumbles down a series of rock ledges into a deep, shaded pool. It’s easily reached by a short path and a few steep steps, making it one of the most accessible waterfalls in the Glens.
The walk itself is short but atmospheric wooden bridge moss-covered rocks, and the constant sound of running water create a peaceful setting that feels far from the road above. After rainfall, the falls are particularly striking, with the spray catching the light through the trees.
Managed by the National Trust, Glenoe is well maintained, with viewing points and handrails that let you get close to the water without losing that wild, tucked-away feeling. It’s a perfect quick stop for anyone exploring the Antrim Coast, and a favourite with photographers and walkers alike.
Note: Don’t just visit the waterfall, there is a picturesque small village just meters away that has an old world feel.
