Welcome to Strandhill, a true gem on the Wild Atlantic Way where the energy is simply infectious. You'll find a vast stretch of golden sand pounded by Atlantic waves, with the majestic Knocknarea mountain providing a stunning backdrop. It's a world-renowned spot for surfing, and the village buzzes with a cool, vibrant atmosphere from the surf schools, cozy cafes, and pubs. While the powerful currents make it unsafe for swimming, a long walk along the shore, exploring the dunes, or just watching the surfers ride the swell is an experience in itself. Everything is conveniently located right by the beach, with parking available along the promenade.
