Message from Kieran - Exploring Scotland

Tucked away in a sheep field in Kilmartin Glen, the Nether Largie Standing Stones are a mysterious arrangement of five ancient stones forming an 'X' shape. Standing tall at around 2.85 meters high, these stones date back over 3,200 years and are believed to have been used for lunar observations by our neolithic ancestors. With cup marks and ring carvings adding to their enigmatic charm, these stones remain a fascinating mystery in Scottish history.
