Thomas Riddell's grave in Greyfriars Kirkyard, Edinburgh, is a popular spot for Harry Potter fans because it inspired the name of the character Tom Riddle, aka Lord Voldemort. JK Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series, revealed that she used the names on gravestones in the graveyard as inspiration for some of her characters. Tourists now visit the grave to pay homage to the dark wizard who terrorized the wizarding world.
