Kelburn Castle and Estate, located in Fairlie, North Ayrshire, Scotland, is a historic site that has been continuously inhabited by the same family for centuries. Originally built in the thirteenth century, the castle was remodeled in the sixteenth century and further extended in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The estate is open to the public, offering a range of activities including play areas, a café, and tours of the castle. Known for its unique graffiti project where Brazilian artists painted the walls, Kelburn Castle and Estate also hosts events throughout the year, including the popular Kelburn Garden Party music festival.
